A CONSCIOUS CHOICE

At La Nuit Bleue Atelier, every design decision reflects care — for craft, for artistry, and for the natural world. While silk has long been a symbol of luxury, the traditional process of producing it involves boiling silkworms within their cocoons. Truly cruelty-free silk alternatives are rare, and traceable ethical sourcing remains difficult.

For that reason, I’ve chosen not to use silk in my collections. My chiffon scarves and lightweight shawls offer the same lightness, movement, and elegance — without harm. It’s a choice that aligns with my commitment to sustainability, compassion, and thoughtful design.

La Nuit Bleue Atelier was born from a deep love of art, pattern, photography, and the bold beauty of living out loud. Founded by artist and creative force Camile O'Briant, the brand began as a personal exploration — a way to merge fine art with fashion, and color with meaning. What started as a spark of inspiration became a full-fledged vision: to create wearable pieces that feel expressive, intentional, and utterly unforgettable.

Each design is a love letter to the things that move us — vintage florals, unexpected plaids, layered textures, and the kind of colors that don’t ask for permission. Camile’s background in photography, design, and storytelling weaves its way through every pattern and silhouette. Her goal? To give you something you’ll want to wear on purpose — something made with care, crafted sustainably, and designed to last longer than a trend.
